1. Can’t stop reading other peoples blogs…When I do stop I realize its 12:00 midnight…And I really need to go to bed!!
2. And when you read everyone’s blogs you feel yours could never measure up, some of them are so fabulous, and what lives…But who cares, I started a blog because I wanted to share, wanted to play with the big kids…Commenting on the things I find interesting and worth sharing.
3. I have too many kids…seven…My fault! But aren’t they a lovely bunch?

Been re-modeling my house…Started with the
kitchen and that looked so good re-done, moved to the master bedroom, then the
next room and the next…Have done the entire house…Now come the fun part, the decorating...
I would just store it in the garage each time
Grandpa Charles, Ryland and Bella (She thinks we bought her a baby)
6. My Internet store kinda keeps me from blogging, I really don’t have the time I wanna spend on it, but things are going to change because my house is splitting at the seams with vintage, antique items I need to sell, and just can’t seem to stop buying. Not having a physical store anymore allows you to procrastinate on setting up vignettes and displays. I really miss the ewes and ahhs of the customers when they walked in. But for some reason I have forgotten that a web-site could be getting those same reactions if I just put the time in. I only have one tenth of my inventory listed, and the best stuff is just hiding away in some bins. My Thursday resolution…Get the website loaded!!
7· My daughter Terryn bought a house, Yahhhh! Really was hard having her family living with us while they were saving for that, but they did it, bought a repo for about half of what homes were going for last two years. I know it is someone’s loss, but I think the family would be happy to know that those kids have put sweat and tears into making that a real showcase for very little money. That’s where her Dad and I come in…Having a Dad who is a contractor really helps when you need to gut and re-build a house.

8. Reason eight some would argue is really no reason but I beg to differ…My husband doing a large job in Newport Beach, CA…My husband doesn’t like to drive to Newport by himself and since he has had this job up north I very nicely offer to ride up with him…On one stipulation, that is we get to frequent one of my shopping destinations there. Let me tell you Newport has some great shopping. The genuine Shabby Chic store is one I just love. You seriously could just move right in and be soooo happy. www.shabbychic.com

My Daughter Loren got married…
Now that the wedding is behind us you
really forget how much work and MONEY go into just having a wedding. It was far
too stressful for any of us to enjoy so I sat my other girls down and explained
that Loren’s Wedding was a large lesson learned…And never again will that much
money or time go towards nothing more than a party. The next wedding with be in
a rented tent in the middle of my lawn, with the gazebo being the alter. It will cost a third of the last and be so
much more enjoyable and relaxing.

Now that I have made it one of my resolutions,
and it is officially announced I’ll have to keep up my
blog at least weekly. I
hope at least one or two of you will come and play, because one thing I know
for sure is how much friendships and support mean in this season of life.
